Terms of Use

1. The rights we give you

As long as you follow these terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. This gives you no ownership of the Platform. In particular, you may not:

• copy, sell, rent out or sublicense any part of the Platform;
• reverse engineer it, or try to extract its source code, word lists or puzzles;
• access it with scripts or automated tools;
• place an unreasonable load on our servers, or attempt to disrupt them;
• remove or obscure any notice, branding or advertisement.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to online services, that higher age applies. By using the Platform you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

Creating an account takes a single field — a name. Until you add an email address and password, or connect a Google or Google Play Games account, your session on that device is the only key to the account. If you lose the device or clear its storage, the account may become unreachable. We recommend securing it.

• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• You may not sell, share or transfer your account to anyone else.
• One person should not run several accounts to manipulate standings or invitation rewards.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile, or from our account deletion page.

4. Fair play and prohibited behaviour

The following will get an account restricted or closed:

• using a script, automated solver or any outside help during a match;
• exploiting a bug instead of reporting it;
• deliberately abandoning matches to affect ratings, or arranging results with another player;
• creating several accounts to climb a leaderboard or to collect invitation rewards;
• harassing, threatening or abusing other players, in messages or anywhere else;
• attempting to access another person's account.

5. Opponents and house players

When no other player is available, an opponent at your level steps in so your match never stalls. In some languages, to keep matches and leagues active, GuessClash also runs its own house player accounts. House players follow the same rules and scoring as everyone else; they do not receive champion gift packs, they do not count towards Champions League entry, and they play less as more people join.

6. Messages, names and other content

Your display name, username, profile photo, messages, voice messages, comments, reports and support messages are your content. You must not post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, insulting, threatening, impersonates another person or organisation, or infringes someone else's rights.

Names and photos may be checked automatically and reviewed by a moderator. We may reject a name, reset it to a neutral one, remove a photo, comment or message, or close the account outright. Players can report and block each other; we review reports and may act on them. By posting content you grant us the right to store and display it inside the Platform for the purpose of running the service.

7. Points, virtual items and rewards

Points, ELO, XP, levels, titles, badges, trophies, medals, jokers, gifts, ad-free time and any other in-game items exist only inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or goods, and cannot be transferred between accounts, except where the game itself lets you send a gift to a friend. We may adjust or reset them where a scoring error, a bug or manipulation has occurred.

Invitations. You can earn rewards (such as jokers, a profile crown or ad-free days) when people you invite join and play. Rewards are granted only for genuine new players. We may withhold or remove rewards obtained through fake accounts, multiple accounts or any other abuse.

Sponsored words. Some puzzles may feature a word chosen by a sponsor. We may reject any sponsor application and are not responsible for the content of a sponsor's website.

If we offer in-app purchases, they are processed by the app store, and the store's own terms apply to payments and refunds.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform's name, logo, design, code, word lists, puzzles, sounds and all other materials belong to Founder Panda or its licensors and are protected by law. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.

9. Changes to the game

We develop the game continuously. Modes, rules, scoring, languages, rewards, ad placement and features may change, be paused or be removed, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance. Where a change is significant we will announce it in the app.

10. Third-party services

The Platform uses third-party services for ads, ad measurement, notifications, name checks, analytics and sign-in, including Google, Meta and TikTok. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability. The list, and what each one receives, is in our Privacy Policy.

11. Suspension and closure

If you breach these terms we may warn you, restrict features, suspend your account or close it permanently. For serious breaches we may act without prior warning. You can close your own account at any time.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profit, or the loss of in-game progress or items. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against us because of your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Platform, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages arising from it.

15. Languages

The Platform and these terms are available in several languages. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version. If you keep using the Platform after a change, you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Founder Panda is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
